Calle de Fray Luis le Leon & Surroundings
The deep site in Calle de Fray Luis le Leon was a consolidated area that combines residential and commercial uses as well as some remnants of light industry. The site has a very distinct topography that had to be taken into account during the design process, being 6 meters below street level. Access to the site was limited due to the commerical opening hours of the office adjacent.

After carrying out an individual investigation of the Calle de Fray Luis le Leon site and area, exploring the social ares within the city the urban fabric appears to have some form of cultural axis line of these popular destinations.This led to a study wether the site and library proposal could be and extension of the cultural commmunity,
